Dinah Larbi

Dinah Larbi is the Assistant Principal at Roger Williams Middle School. She has worked in education for 35 years, the last 30 in the Providence Public School District (PPSD), and the last 19 as an administrator. Prior to coming to PPSD, she was an English teacher at Ghana Secondary School in Ghana, Africa.

Dinah earned her Bachelor's degree in English and History from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana-West Africa. She received her Masters of Education degree in Guidance and Counseling from Plymouth State University in Plymouth, New Hampshire. Dinah obtained her Doctorate degree in Educational Leadership from Johnson and Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island.

Dinah's vision for the upcoming school year is to create a learning environment which is conducive to teaching and learning. Her vision is for students to feel welcomed so that they can be highly motivated to learn because they feel safe at school. Dinah is really interested in having a positive influence on young people. She believes that she's had very rich experiences in life, and always longs to share them with students. Dinah desires to see the students succeed in life and believes some of her experiences could be very rich resources for them, which is why she always wants to make a strong connection with parents and family members.

Xenia Walker

Xenia Walker is the Assistant Principal at Roger Williams Middle School. She has been working in education for 31 years, the last 22 in the Providence Public School District (PPSD). Prior to coming to PPSD, Xenia worked at the Watkinson School in Connecticut as an English teacher, at the MET School in Providence as an advisor when it opened in 1996, and at Providence Country Day as a Music teacher, English teacher, and Choral Director. She is entering her second year as an Assistant Principal.

Xenia earned her Bachelor's degree from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York. She received her Master's degree from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, and completed principal training through the Principal Residency Network (PRN).

Xenia's vision for Roger Williams Middle School is to foster a community of compassionate and critical thinkers by utilizing and empowering the cultural capital, expertise and resources of their stakeholders.
